Jericho showed me that a post apocalyptic TV show, if done right, could be amazing. Then it left me high and dry by abruptly getting cut off second season and trying to tie up all the lose ends in a rushed finale.
Fast forward to 2012, we finally have a new post apocalyptic TV show that could be promising. It is called “Revolution” and it is going to come on Monday nights on NBC. The series will start airing as part of NBC’s new fall 2012-13 season.
The premise is pretty standard really all electricity and technology suddenly stops working and, TEOTWAWKI, SHTF, or whatever you want to call it ensues. Governments collapse and warlords rise up and seize control. The show begins from the present day and shows how the technology and electricity all abruptly fail, before fast forwarding 15 years to show an over grown chaotic shell of the word we once knew.
The trailer is pretty good and it leads us to believe that this show will be graphically intense as well as action packed; full of sword fighting and bow and arrow combat.

i dont have much hope for this show as all the BAD guys have guns
and the GOOD guys have arrows and swords.
I just wish the costumes in the trailer didn’t suck so badly – everyone looks like they just stepped out of a JCPenny back-to-school poster!

I thought the same thing (almost literally the same exact thing)
but more than anything, just how bad the costume design on the show was…. i mean they could have at least aged their clothes a little better (burried them for 6 months or so) something to make it have a more apocalyptic feel to it…
Everyone just looks like they are put together people that drank too much the night before, and didnt change their shirt…

Looks cool, but too clean…literally. The clothes look brand new, the backpack, even the bow and arrow! Hope these are minor bloopers.

this show is just a cheap rip off of a science fiction series called “the protectors war” which is several books from start to finish,, the author died last year, which is convienant for these rip of thieves as he cant defend his work
